Back Valley Vows Entrance
Step-by-step guide for the smooth running processional/ceremony entrance
Line up Inside: Have everyone line up inside the venue in their designated order. Started with family (grandparents first)
Walking out as a Group: the group will then head to the two pillars next to the fence in an orderly manner.
Spacing: Instruct each person to maintain a distance of about half your chair aisle (around 15 feet or until they get about half way out of the tall grass area)apart from the person in front of them for a visually appealing and organized procession.
Flower Girl & Ring Bearer: Once the flower girl and/or ring bearer make it to the front, it signals the start of the bride's entrance.
Bride's Entrance: Bride and her escort should begin their walk once the flower girl and/or ring bearer have reached the front.
Music Cue: Coordinate with the music to ensure it flows smoothly with the procession, signaling each entrance appropriately. Even if you can’t hear the music it’s best to get the flow and walking (often the music will catch up.)
Stay Relaxed: Encourage everyone to stay relaxed and enjoy the moment, as it's a special day for all involved.
By following these steps, you can help ensure that the processional runs more smoothly!
Back Valley Exit
Step-by-step guide for the smooth transition after the wedding ceremony 1. Couple's Exit: The newlyweds exit together, clearing the last row of chairs before the best man and maid of honor begin their walk.
2. Wedding Party Recessional: Once the wedding party completes their recessional, the immediate family members can either remain seated or follow behind.
3. Leading the Way: As the couple, you lead the way for the wedding party and immediate family members to follow, ensuring everyone knows where to go next.
4. Choosing the Route: Decide whether to make a wide turn at the end of the chairs and circle back to the ceremony spot for family photos, or take the sidewalk back up to the top and circle back down the side where guests originally entered.
5. Consider Guest Movement: Keep in mind that guests will be dismissed and invited into the reception space, so plan a route that avoids congestion and ensures a smooth flow of traffic.
6. Communication: Communicate the plan with the wedding party, immediate family, and any vendors involved to ensure everyone is aware of the next steps and can follow accordingly. 7. Transition to Photos: Once everyone has reached the designated spot for family photos, coordinate with the photographer to begin capturing those special moments.
By following these steps, you can prep for a more seamless transition from the ceremony to the post-ceremony activities.
