Is alcohol allowed?
Yes. Alcohol is permitted only when all venue policies are followed.
Who can serve alcohol?
All alcohol must be provided and served by a licensed caterer or bartending service. No self-service or BYOB.
Is liquor liability insurance required?
Yes. Vendors must carry $1,000,000 in Liquor Liability Insurance and submit proof 30 days prior to the event.
Is security required?
Yes. Security is required for all events serving alcohol.
Fee: $200, deducted from the security deposit
Security is arranged by The McGranahan Barn
Can alcohol leave the property?
No. Alcohol may not leave the premises at any time.
Is underage drinking allowed?
No. Underage drinking is strictly prohibited.
Are drinking games allowed?
No. Beer pong and alcohol-related games are not permitted.
Can the venue stop alcohol service?
Yes. The McGranahan Barn reserves the right to refuse or stop alcohol service at any time for safety or policy compliance.
What happens if alcohol policies are violated?
Violations may result in:
A $500 penalty
Loss of deposit
Immediate termination of the event without refund
Who is responsible for alcohol-related incidents?
The client assumes all responsibility and agrees to hold The McGranahan Barn harmless for alcohol-related incidents.
