"The best decision I made when planning my wedding was booking this venue. I knew I needed a large space for a 250-300 guest count but wanted something rustic and in the OKC area. Mareè and the McGranahan Barn team went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered and the wedding day went smoothly. We had originally planned an outdoor ceremony but the temperature dropped to 54 degrees two days before the wedding. Mareeè suggested transitioning to an indoor ceremony and reception and it went flawlessly. Her team decorated the space before the ceremony for us and helped tear down after. Every detail that needed to happen that day Mareè took care of. Outstanding service and a beautiful venue. This location is worth every penny and is a great value for the OKC area. Highly recommend!"

My experience with the McGranahan barn was great from the start. Maree is so kind, easy to work with and super sweet. A few months ago we had our wedding at the barn and it was absolutely perfect!! The barn worked hand and hand with my wedding planner to make adjustments for our big guest count. Our rehearsal and wedding day were a breeze! We are still getting compliments about how great our wedding was and how lovely the venue was! The family who owns this barn are quickly becoming some of my favorite people. They are so sweet and genuinely care about the people who come into their amazing barn. I could go on and on about how much I enjoy working with them! They take great pride in their barn and it shows. Aside from the fabulous owners, the venue itself is wonderful. Something I love about it from a design point of view is that you can decorate it up, or leave it as is and you'll still have a beautiful space. One of my other favorite things about the barn is that it is one of the only barn venues in the state that has heating and air, which with Oklahoma weather, can be VERY important. "I had my eye on the barn for a while after seeing it pop up on social media from previous weddings, so when my now husband proposed, I emailed them as soon as I could in hopes that they would have our date open. Lucky for us, they did, and I couldn't be happier with the whole process and how the barn was the perfect setting for our wedding. From the first meeting on, Maree' was there to answer all questions (even the crazy-last-minute bride-freaking-out ones). Maree' also happens to be one of the sweetest people that I've come across--I had a request that she donate the leftover wedding flowers to the hospital I work at, and she did just that the very next day. "Josh and I were engaged in December and married in August. We venue searched for three months. We both loved the barn atmosphere, and lucky for us, Oklahoma has plenty! But I felt a lot like Goldie Locks, with the places we visited never feeling quite right; too small, too far, too expensive, etc.
In February, we scheduled a tour with the McGranahan and fell in love. It was large enough to host our 250 guest count, but felt intimate and cozy. It was as if we were the only people for miles, but it was conveniently located right off N.W. Expressway in OKC. It was every bit the rustic I was looking for aesthetically, but still had all the modern amenities we could want.
"On the day of, everything was absolutely perfect. Maree' and her husband Steve, made our wedding the most beautiful day of my entire life. Every detail of the venue was taken care of perfectly. We had a food truck on site and that process was seamless, and they had no problem with our goldendoodle loping around for pictures before the ceremony.
The heart of the family who run the property is reflected in every detail and it still brings me to tears to think about the overwhelming kindness and warmth they extended to my family and friends.
I would recommend the McGranahan to anyone a million times over. . It was more than just a place to host a party - it was the start of our story, and there will never be a more beautiful beginning than that."

"We chose the McGranahan Barn as our wedding venue for many reasons. One of them being the obvious- it is BEAUTIFUL out there! My wife and I got married at McGranahan last October and it was nothing short of amazing. This was the first and only venue we looked at, 30 minutes in to our site visit my fiancé had that gleam in her eyes and I knew I needed to find the checkbook. From the get-go, working with Mareé was flawless. First of all, she is maybe one of the sweetest human beings I have ever met. Her kind and genuine interest in our big day was apparent from the very beginning. Communication with her was smooth and consistent, my fiancé felt bad for sending so many emails with so many questions, but Mareé never even flinched as she answered every question and probably gave us more information than we needed! Fast forward 9 months and it was our wedding day. Knowing that Mareé was our coordinator for the day took so much pressure off of the both of us. I really can’t think of a more perfect day, it was incredible. The ceremony and reception went off without any issues and for that we owe Mareé and her team the props.
The barn itself, plus the open prairie around was the absolute perfect back drop for our late October wedding. Obviously the venue makes the difference, but our experience with Mareé, her family and her team was something we will never take for granted.

We went with a rustic chic theme and were thrilled with the outcome! Our guests were completely wowed and we are still hearing compliments from them about how beautiful the barn was. The barn offered plenty of space for our tables, dinner buffet, sweetheart table, bride and groom's cake tables, s'mores bar, popcorn and candy bars, dance floor and more. We also added some vintage furniture on the front patio and in the upstairs loft to create a variety of beautiful spaces for our guests to relax and hang out. The Barn offers a list of recommended vendors that they have experience with and we found great vendors through them for our DJ, farm tables, vintage furniture and more. It was a big help to get us started since we were completely new to wedding planning, and it was good to know that they had positive experience with these vendors. The McGranahan Barn also has areas that create a wonderful variety of wedding photo locations including the back valley ceremony site, the lovely barn exterior and interior and an original pioneer homestead with an Old West windmill. One of the best parts of our experience with the McGranahan Barn was working with the team that runs it. From our first site visit, we felt very comfortable with Maree. She was helpful throughout our planning process and we hired her as our day-of coordinator. This was the best investment we could have made! Maree ran our rehearsal the evening before the wedding and had both the bride and groom's families feeling at ease right away. On the big day she was at the venue before 10:00am and had already done a lot of work for us. She worked every bit as hard as we did getting the venue ready all afternoon. She made a quick clothing change and immediately started leading us through the ceremony. She worked all evening doing all the little things that I didn't even think about during the reception so I could enjoy our guests and the experience. And after organizing every detail of the reception and seeing the bride and groom through their sparkler exit, she stayed and helped us clean up until midnight! She was super sweet and an incredible wedding-running machine! The McGranahan Barn is a wonderful venue for a wedding and reception that should definitely be on your short list. And be sure and don't pass up the opportunity to add Maree' as your day-of coordinator!"

As a bride doing most of her planning during COVID, I didn't get to see the barn in person before we committed to it as our venue. We took a Zoom tour initially, but when we finally did get a chance to visit in person it completely lived up to our dreams. The decor was incredibly easy to plan because the barn alone inside and out is stunning.
Maree and her team were helpful throughout the entire process of planning. Maree was available via a message board to answer any questions I had during the months leading up to the wedding. "Josh and I were engaged in December and married in August. We venue searched for three months. We both loved the barn atmosphere, and lucky for us, Oklahoma has plenty! But I felt a lot like Goldie Locks, with the places we visited never feeling quite right; too small, too far, too expensive, etc.
In February, we scheduled a tour with the McGranahan and fell in love. It was large enough to host our 250 guest count, but felt intimate and cozy. My wife and I got married at McGranahan last October and it was nothing short of amazing. This was the first and only venue we looked at, 30 minutes in to our site visit my fiancé had that gleam in her eyes and I knew I needed to find the checkbook. From the get-go, working with Mareé was flawless. First of all, she is maybe one of the sweetest human beings I have ever met. Her kind and genuine interest in our big day was apparent from the very beginning. Communication with her was smooth and consistent, my fiancé felt bad for sending so many emails with so many questions, but Mareé never even flinched as she answered every question and probably gave us more information than we needed! Fast forward 9 months and it was our wedding day. Knowing that Mareé was our coordinator for the day took so much pressure off of the both of us. I really can’t think of a more perfect day, it was incredible. The ceremony and reception went off without any issues and for that we owe Mareé and her team the props.
The barn itself, plus the open prairie around was the absolute perfect back drop for our late October wedding. Obviously the venue makes the difference, but our experience with Mareé, her family and her team was something we will never take for granted.

"The McGranahan Barn in OKC was the perfect location for my daughter's wedding and reception this fall. The simple outdoor ceremony site was great with the sunset as a backdrop. And the barn was splendid for the reception. The barn is just beautiful with a warm wooden interior that creates the perfect atmosphere for rustic and elegant celebrations. We went with a rustic chic theme and were thrilled with the outcome! Our guests were completely wowed and we are still hearing compliments from them about how beautiful the barn was. The barn offered plenty of space for our tables, dinner buffet, sweetheart table, bride and groom's cake tables, s'mores bar, popcorn and candy bars, dance floor and more. We also added some vintage furniture on the front patio and in the upstairs loft to create a variety of beautiful spaces for our guests to relax and hang out. The Barn offers a list of recommended vendors that they have experience with and we found great vendors through them for our DJ, farm tables, vintage furniture and more. It was a big help to get us started since we were completely new to wedding planning, and it was good to know that they had positive experience with these vendors. The McGranahan Barn also has areas that create a wonderful variety of wedding photo locations including the back valley ceremony site, the lovely barn exterior and interior and an original pioneer homestead with an Old West windmill. One of the best parts of our experience with the McGranahan Barn was working with the team that runs it. From our first site visit, we felt very comfortable with Maree. She was helpful throughout our planning process and we hired her as our day-of coordinator. This was the best investment we could have made! Maree ran our rehearsal the evening before the wedding and had both the bride and groom's families feeling at ease right away. On the big day she was at the venue before 10:00am and had already done a lot of work for us. She worked every bit as hard as we did getting the venue ready all afternoon. She made a quick clothing change and immediately started leading us through the ceremony. She worked all evening doing all the little things that I didn't even think about during the reception so I could enjoy our guests and the experience. And after organizing every detail of the reception and seeing the bride and groom through their sparkler exit, she stayed and helped us clean up until midnight! She was super sweet and an incredible wedding-running machine! The McGranahan Barn is a wonderful venue for a wedding and reception that should definitely be on your short list. And be sure and don't pass up the opportunity to add Maree' as your day-of coordinator!"

As a bride doing most of her planning during COVID, I didn't get to see the barn in person before we committed to it as our venue. We took a Zoom tour initially, but when we finally did get a chance to visit in person it completely lived up to our dreams.
